| The Paul Gauguin ~ 2007 |
| A Once in a Lifetime Experience! Escorted by Bill Walsh with Special Guest: Jean-Michael Cousteau, world-renowned oceanographer and environmentalist, the son of the legendary Jacques Cousteau. Unspoiled beaches, sparkling lagoons and radiant sunsets in Fiji, that's where Bill and 'Friends' spent two weeks in November of 2007. Warmed by the smiles of the islanders and their gentle, friendly ways. Anchored on a secluded motu, watching sunsets relecting in a silken lagoon, diving into a dazzling reef or playing on a sandbar....who would ever want to go home? |

| Escape to the Amazon - Suriname 2008 |
| In March 2008, a group of tourism experts, including our very own Bill Walsh, traveled under the auspices of the SD-Suriname State Partnership Program to Paramaribo, Suriname. Their objectives were to experience the sights, smells and sounds of everything Suriname has to offer and to provide input to tourism officials in the country on American expectations with foreign travel. The group held meetings with the U.S. Ambassador and Embassy staff, private and government tourism officials, and spent 2-1/2 days in the deep Suriname rainforest exploring the jungle and visiting indigenous Amerindian tribes to learn about tourism opportunities along the Tapanahoni River. Three of the travelers, Brockelsby, Walsh, and Oldham, seized the opportunity to venture into the deep, dark jungle at night in search of poisonous toads, multi-legged insects, and slithering reptiles.
For their courage, the group tabbed the three as “The Toad Busters.”

| Sailing the Greek & Turkish Isles - October 2008 |
| Jo & I traveled on a wonderful 7-night sailing trip to the Greek and Turkish Islands. We sailed on the Star Clipper (this was our 3rd cruise on this line) what a beauty of a ship with three masts and only 170 passengers. We were fortunate to be joined by great friends (26 of us in all) on a majestic ship, creating a truly dynamic experience.
Three days and nights in Athens, visiting the Temples of Zeus and Athena, the Acropolis, the old Olympic site and the new Olympic sites ~ Greek music, Greek food and Greek wine - WOW!
Then, seven days of sailing aboard the 170 passenger Star Clipper - A three mast sailing ship (we sailed the entire week), but with the comforts of a big yacht. We stopped at the island of Rhodes and Santorini, and two Turkish ports as well. Enjoyed the Mud Baths and Diving in Turkey, as well as the visit to the ancient sites on the Greek isles.
